What is a CCTV?
CCTV stands for closed-circuit television.  Closed circuit video magnification systems are capable of very high levels of magnification and can manipulate the brightness and contrast of the image.  CCTVs can be large and stationary or smaller and portable.  There is no degradation of images with extreme magnification, however, the higher the magnification, the smaller the field of view.  CCTV is often used when optical devices such as spectacles and magnifiers are not strong enough or not accepted.
